ShopTrakker 2006 v2.75 is now released. We will be mailing out upgrade
CD's to all customers whose support contracts are current over the next
week or so.
24 Jan 2006
The next upgrade to ShopTrakker 2000 (v2.75) is now in final testing
and should be ready for release somewhere between month-end and the
first part of February, depending on how the testing goes.
Many of the suggestions that we received from our customers have been
implemented. Unfortunately, time constraints meant that several could
not make it into this release, but rest assured that if we indicated
to you that a feature you requested will make it into the package, that
it is still on the "to do" list for the next release.
16 Jun 2004
ShopTrakker 2000 v2.50 has been released, and the CD's are being prepared.
We will begin sending out upgrade CD's to all customers with up-to-date
support contracts in place on Tuesday, June 22.
7 Jun 2004
The release of ShopTrakker 2000 v2.50 has been delayed for a short
interval, as a couple of last minute issues came up. We have frozen
the feature set for v2.50, which is now in final beta testing and should
be released within the next week to two weeks.
We will be sending out upgrade CD's to all customers with current support
contracts in place once v2.50 is officially released.
Here is a listing of some of the new features/changes (in no particular
order):
27 September 2003
G. Supply Solutions is no longer associated with The Software Connection
and is no longer authorized to represent, sell, support our software
products or accept payments in regard to those products.
We wish to express our sincere appreciation to many of our customers
who have responded with their continued support, loyalty, patience and
encouragement through this transitional period of time.
We are aware of the potentially damaging letters that G. Supply Solutions
have sent to each ShopTrakker 2000 customer, one of which detailed emails
that should have remained confidential.
We want to assure everyone that development is still ongoing for ShopTrakker
2000, and that support is still in place and available via email at
support@swconnection.com.
The present circumstances at The Software Connection are that we will
be wearing the hats of both companies, providing all of the services
previously provided by G. Supply Solutions as well as those that we
normally provided using our own resources. As a result, the level of
support and the rate of new developments will be somewhat diminished
temporarily until such time as a suitable replacement for G. Supply
Solutions can be found and brought online.
With ShopTrakker 2000 being a very large and involved software system
that encompasses many areas of the operations of a manufacturer, a certain
level of competence must be reached before we can deploy new resources
or sales/support representatives. This would be akin to teaching someone
how to fully run a manufacturing business, which, as you would well
know, being in the business yourself, is no trivial task and could take
some time.
While "passing the baton", G. Supply solutions published
an incorrect list of phone numbers in their email and we would like
that to be corrected.
The phone numbers for The Software Connection, as is clearly documented
on our web site at http://www.swconnection.com are as follows:
Voice: (519) 570-9958
FAX: (519) 745-9789
The other numbers given are either my own personal phone numbers, those
of other manufacturers who serve as our main test sites for the program,
or numbers that are actually obsolete. These numbers should not be used.
Support is only available at the locations and numbers given above.
Effective immediately, all support payments, or fees for additional
workstations must be made directly to:
The Software Connection
10 Lombardy Court
Kitchener, ON N2M 1W7
Canada
Your patience while we clear the hurdles placed in front of us is very
much appreciated.
We still believe that ShopTrakker 2000 is the best solution for the
manufacturing industry today. We are very sorry that our valuable customers
have been somewhat caught in the middle of the present situation, but
once we get things back on track, we are sure that it will be for the
better.
Sincerely, and with best regards,
Rick Hillier
President, The Software Connection
