What Is SeriesTrakker 2000?
One of my hobbies is slotcar racing. Often, track owners will run one
or more points series for various classes of these cars. Far too often,
I have seen the persons involved in keeping track of the statistics
and standings poring over sheets of paper, spreadsheets or homegrown
solutions on database programs. In each case, the process of tallying
up the points and results takes up a significant amount of time.
This is all fine and dandy, except for one small detail. We all know
that the REAL reason that we go slotcar racing is for the socializing
(i.e. beer and chicken wings, etc.) that goes on after the event. We
simply cannot have the task of figuring out the standings in the various
points series cutting into this valuable time!
SeriesTrakker 2000 was developed to cut this time to a minimum, thereby
maximizing the time available for socializing. It's certainly made our
life easier - I hope that it can make yours easier too!
One important thing to note regarding this program... although it was
designed with slotcar points series in mind, it can also work well for
any sort of points series including everything from go-karts right up
to serious larger scale professional racing series or anything else
that awards points for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.
