How To Get Your Registration Payments To Us

Catdisk For Windows is marketed as a shareware program. If you have determined that this program meets your needs and you intend to continue using it, you are expected to register your copy.

Pricing is presently $33 for the base registration and $40 if you would like a program disk included with your registration.

There are two ways to register your copy of Catdisk For Dos: Directly with us, or via PayPal over the internet.

Registering Directly With Us

When registering Catdisk For Windows, be sure and fill in the appropriate built-in registration form and include it with your payment. Too often, we simply get checks from companies wth no registration forms accompanying them, which makes it difficult to address the confirmation and upgrade disk (if ordered) to the appropriate person in the company.

The registration forms (single user and multi-copy site license) are built right into the program itself, and there are facilities provided which allow you to fill in and print them out on your printer.

Registration payments for Catdisk For Windows may be made by check or money order drawn on either a US or Canadian bank (whichever is most convenient to you) or by VISA credit card.

When paying by check or money order, please make them payable to Rick Hillier, and not The Software Connection or The Shareware Connection.

In terms of payment currency, we generally treat US and Canadian funds equally due to the fact that our products have been on the market for a very long time, and we have seen the exchange rate between the two currencies fluctuate widely during this time. It is much easier and less confusing to simply treat them the same.

Quite often, many of our customers outside of North America elect to send cash in order to avoid the excessive bank charges when obtaining an appropriate check or money order. If you must send cash, you assume all risk. If paying in this manner, we strongly advise sending it by registered mail, so that we must sign for it. This will add a measure of security over normal postal services.

If registering by mail, fill out the appropriate registration form and send it to us, along with the appropriate fees.

If using a VISA credit card for payment you may also fax the form to us at (519) 745-9789 for faster processing.

Another alternative for getting a registration form to us (if using VISA for payment) is to "print" the registration form to a disk file, and use a PKZIP-compatible program to "zip" it into a password protected archive. Then, send us a message to "support@swconnection.com" indicating the filename and the password used. In a second message, attach the actual zip file.

If you prefer to talk to a real live person, you may register with your VISA credit card by phone at (519) 570-9958. If we are busy and you get our voice mail system, you may leave the details outlined on the registration form there and we will process them as soon as we receive them.

Note: Credit card fraud is a felony and we will aggressively prosecute anyone attempting to misuse a credit card number. We track every transaction and will use all means available to prosecute persons attempting fraud.
