You may now optionally have Catdisk prompt you for a specific directory to catalog from a disk (and all directories below it). 9.10	Announcement of CATDISK for Windows in README.1ST file. Dramatically sped up the "Report By Comment Text/Keywords" search when searching beyond the first comment line. 9.00	NEW! Catalog Comparison facility makes it easy to compare your catalog to a BBS listing or another catalog to determine which files the other has that you do not and vice versa. Useful in dealing with BBS systems that have an upload:download ratio or when sharing software archives with a friend. Added a "full record" browser to the screen-based summary and catalog reports, which makes it easier to see all elements of a catalog record at once. You can now select multiple volumes from a list in the "Report By Volume ID" to create a report for a selected grouping of disks. When creating a fully sorted list by comment, the sort is now done case- insensitive, making the "flow" of the report more logical. Enhanced the functionality of the "backspace" and "del" keys in the multi-line comment editor. The comment editors now have a (very) simple undo in the event that you inadvertantly "zap" a category or comment. CATDISK now keeps track of the drive letter from which a disk was cataloged. This is reported in the summary reports (including the custom reports). Added "Disk Drive Squelch Specs" feature to allow automatic squelching of disks cataloged from specific drives (eg. CD ROM) so that they will not be recommended for "backfilling" operations by DISKFILL. You may now tag and untag files by subdirectory in the selective cataloging feature. CATDISK now remembers the last volume label entered or cataloged between sessions and uses it as the basis for suggesting sequential volume labels when labeling disks with no label. When entering disk comments as they are cataloged, the "Ditto Last Comment" feature is now available at the prompt. Sorted listings of all files may now be aborted at the "Reverse Sort" prompt. All wildcard filespec searching procedures now automatically treat a filespec like "A*" as "A*.*". Previously, only the file report by wildcard filespec did this. Added support for RAR 1.55 SFX archives. Corrected a problem where the selection criteria for the date item in the custom file reports would not allow changes from the "Equal" setting. Corrected a problem where the menu item highlighted would be incorrect after activating the "Set Catalog Drive" and "Get/Create Catalog File" options. Bug fix re: PRINTDOC always starting the printout of the user manual at the beginning, even if a specific page number is requested.

6.20	DISKFILL can now call CATDISK to catalog each disk as it is filled. DISKFILL can now recommend disks from an existing catalog set to facilitate "backfilling" operations. You can now catalog a disk from the command line and then exit to DOS. Filenames now converted to uppercase to accomodate environments which allow lower case filenames. /DISKCOM parameter now allows CATDISK to override existing file comments in a catalog file with those re-read from disk. CDISKCFG now lets you set your "colors" on mono and B&W systems. Bug fix re: CATDISK missing subdirs with read-only, hidden or system attributes. 5.xx	Version 5 has been intentionally skipped due to someone releasing an unauthorized "CATDISK V5.10." This is a modified copy of version 4.50 and should be considered armed and dangerous. Version 6.00 and above should gradually replace this illegitimate release.
