Courtesy of several of our valued customers, we are now aware of hacked
versions of Catdisk 2003 on several web sites that have been modified
to contain malicious code that cause damage to your system. To date,
we have seen three variations so far that range from corrupting your
catalog data to corrupting other data and system information on your
hard drive, which could lead to the necessity to reinstall your system
from scratch.
To date, have not been able to ascertain exactly what triggers the
destructive code, but suffice it to say that you are at risk if you
are using a hacked version of Catdisk.
If you have an unregistered version of Catdisk on your system that
does not show a registration reminder screen upon startup, you may well
have one of these variants. It would, of course, be prudent to erase
that version and download the official release from our website.

Catdisk 2003 has been officially launched.
It's been a long haul, with a few delays thrown in for "good measure",
but, in keeping with our reputation for quality, we wanted to be sure
that this project was done right. The feature set looks very stable,
and we're very excited about the way that this program has turned out.
We hope that you will feel the same way!
